La Memoria de Nuestra Tierra
is a fifty-ft. mural commissioned for the Denver International Airport.
A substantial portion of the research for this project was accomplished during a senior fellowship at the Institute on the Arts and Civic Dialogue, at Harvard University.
To compile the historical imagery used in this work, in-depth research and extensive dialogue with the Hispanic people of Colorado took place over a period of two years.
Follow our progress on this site to see the work develop into a digitally-generated mural, produced on aluminum tile and to be installed in January 2000.
